What is SubHome?
SubHome is a subscription tracking app for families and individuals. It helps you track all your recurring expenses in one place, get renewal alerts before you're charged, and understand your total subscription spend across all services.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — SubHome has a native iOS app available on the App Store. The web app works on any device and browser. Both are kept in sync so you always have the latest data wherever you are.
How do I add a subscription?
From the Subscriptions page, click Add Subscription and fill in the service name, cost, billing period, and next renewal date. SubHome will automatically calculate the monthly equivalent cost for annual plans and schedule your renewal alerts.
What currencies does SubHome support?
SubHome supports all major currencies including EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD, JPY, and more. You can set a default currency in your profile, and the app will display totals in your preferred currency.

Is SubHome free?
SubHome has a free tier that lets you track up to 10 subscriptions for yourself. The Premium plan (€3.99/month or €29.99/year) unlocks unlimited subscriptions, family sharing with up to 4 members, AI-powered insights, and advanced analytics.
What's included in the Premium plan?
Premium includes: unlimited subscription tracking, family sharing (up to 4 members), AI insights that spot savings opportunities, advanced analytics with spending trends, early access to new features, and priority support.
Can I cancel my Premium subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel Premium at any time from your Profile page. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. We don't charge cancellation fees.
Do you offer a family discount?
The Premium plan already includes family sharing for up to 4 members at no extra cost — there's no separate family plan to buy. One Premium subscription covers your whole household.
Family
How does family sharing work?
One family member creates a family group and invites others by email. All members can view the full list of subscriptions. The family admin (and subscription owners) can add, edit, or cancel subscriptions. Every member gets their own account and sees the same shared data in real time.
How many people can be in a family group?
A family group can have up to 4 members on the Premium plan. Each member gets their own SubHome account with full access to the shared subscription list.
Can family members edit each other's subscriptions?
By default, only the subscription owner and the family admin can edit or delete a subscription. Other family members can view all subscriptions but cannot make changes. This prevents accidental deletions.
What happens if the Premium subscriber cancels?
If the family admin cancels their Premium subscription, the family group is downgraded to the free tier at the end of the billing period. All subscription data is preserved — family members just lose Premium features until someone upgrades again.
Privacy
Who can see my subscription data?
Only you — and family members you've invited — can see your subscription data. SubHome staff cannot access your data. Your information is stored in Firebase with security rules that enforce per-family access control.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use anonymised, aggregated data internally to improve the product. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Profile page under Account Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days. If you're the family admin, the family group will also be deleted.
Is my payment information stored securely?
SubHome uses Stripe for payment processing. We never store your card details on our servers — all payment data is handled directly by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
Technical
Why aren't my renewal alerts arriving?
Check that you've set a renewal date for the subscription and that your notification settings are enabled. On iOS, go to Settings > SubHome and make sure notifications are allowed. On the web, check that your browser has permission to send notifications from subhome.app.
Can I import subscriptions from my bank?
Not automatically — SubHome doesn't connect to banks or financial institutions. You add subscriptions manually, which keeps your banking credentials completely separate from the app. We're exploring optional import features for a future update.
Does SubHome work offline?
The iOS app caches your subscription data locally so you can view it without an internet connection. Adding or editing subscriptions requires connectivity to sync with the server. The web app requires an internet connection.
Which browsers are supported?
SubHome works in all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We support the current and previous major version of each browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.
